Happy New year, it looked for a while as tho we would just spend 12 months living in a wet and windy sub under world. Alas it is now freezing and the plans for insulating the workshop have well and truly found them selves way behind just when they are needed. Still we manage to get out sailing and have recently been road testing some new thermal gloves. These seem to be the perfect solution to sailing in the winter. More to come in the next few days.

Those who know us well or regularly follow our onlione witterings will be aware of my recent retirement from the Olympic campaigning trail. Eleven years, two World championships, two Olympic medals, numerous European and international medals it has been a pretty amazing journey. In some ways it has ended a bit prematurely in light of the forthcoming London games. In otherways I could consider that it should have been done earlier! Either way time now to move the Shock buisness on. Hence I have been busy expanding the workshop as well as developing new products to add to our existing range.

Our harness is getting universal acclaim, whilst we have continued to develop some niche solutions such as the 420 compass bracket which fits the back of the mast gate to enable back chocking of the mast. It is ergonomically shaped to fit the shape of the boat and has also been designed to work with all types of compass on the market including the newly class legal tacktic micro.

We will continue to try and innovate new ideas and products in the coming few months. But we are also looking to new horizons so expect to see some more variety on these pages.
