| Insurance approved and well respected our work shop can handle all repair and modification work. Recent projects have involved rebuilding the side deck on one of Iain Percy and Andrew Simpsons star boat. The star is getting towards the largest size of boat we can handle, whilst we dont impose a lower limit! The old adage of no job too big or too small nearly suits us. But we are honest people so we will turn away boats in bottles and your not going to get your deep keel 30' plus yacht in our shed! That said we would be more than happy to do on site work.
We have undertaken a range of work on the Skud paralympic class and have moulds available to replicate much of this work. In particular we can produce the fittings control pod on the aft end of the foredeck. Please get in touch if you have any particular requirments for the skud class, we are more than happy to help or advise on these projects having built up a fair bit of experience on these boats.
We have in stock a range of gelcoats ready to perfect the colour match on your boat. Laser, Zigelmier 420 and 470, Mackay 470 and 49er, RS and Ovington. Any other class we will source the approprate colour and gel for your boat.
Our team is led by Simon Hiscocks who keeps him self busy developing new products repairing boats and keeping the workshop tidy and stocked with the parts required. Those who know him ( me ) will know that keeping the workshop tidy is a misnomer to his ( my ) personality, however there are some areas of life that have a sense of order.
Simon is assisted by the very able Mike Robbins who is a local Musto skiff, Fireball, Scorpion and soon to be Moth sailor. Mikes strengths are his attention to detail and brings a range of skills learnt in local sail lofts to do a lot of our product work.
We have a passion for boats which is why we understand that boats have female names because they need some care and attention.
