Finished!

Wayfarer re varnish, this was taken back to bare wood, epoxy coated and built back up to a perfect gloss finish. Quite an emotional project this one. The late George Hiscocks ( simon's farther ) restored this boat from a near wreck some years back. We had to get the boat back to working order to be sold and we think it's been done proud! It also takes us back to our routes in the 1990's Simon worked for Stanley and Thomas boat builders in Windsor and spent many a happy days scraping wooden boats, preparing and varnishing to the standards only classic river boat restorers can aspire to! Only leaving there in 1998 to begin a 49er sailing career which to this date refuses to completely end.
